LBJ with the go-ahead layup with 11 seconds to go and Bosh with a block on Lillard to save the game. Not sure how to take this one. LeBron did play great, but the Heat just aren't looking like a team heading to a three-peat. LeScale: 8

Raptors abroad coming to you from Thailand, still representing. After 3 boring quarters, the Raps explode for 36 and hold the Hawks to 15 in the 4th. Kyle and Demar both picked some good moments to get going. Huge W.

LBJ was totally uninterested in this game until the final 3 minutes…then he took over. LeBron actually won this game with his D, the second straight game he's done that. I'm as impressed as I can be with only 15pts scored.

An absolutely fantastic game with a very painful ending. All I can say is I hope John Salmons spends some time at the FT line next practice. Ouch. Nice job KD.

Grei…vis. Wowzers. Against his former team, in their house (aka The Smoothie King Centre), Vasquez came up with the goods in the clutch. A huge play late in the 4th, where he rebounded his own missed 3, took it the the basket and flipped it in off the glass reverse…And1. Huuuuuge. Big win to avoid a 3 game losing streak, and to hold our place in the East, with the Bulls and Nets both surging.

The master has come back. Wow, soooo glad I'm not a Cavs fan, because that had to hurt. First off, LBJ had the best quarter of his career in the first, going 10-11 from the field for 25 points! Wow. He finished with 43, 6 of his points came from the free throw line in the final minute to put the game away. The real highlight for me though, was LBJ's block on Spencer Hawes to preserve a 3 point lead in the final minute. Wow! Look it up if you missed it. Oh, and he did it all in Cleveland, against the team he should still be on. Ouch. LeScale: Broken. This was better than the 61. Boom shaka laka.

I called this one live as I saw it from early in the 4th. Of course the game went into OT! The boys couldn't quite get it done for the second straight game. Seemed like a solid effort, and again we just got beat. Really hope this isn't the start of a streak because the Raptors could find themselves dropping spots in the East in a hurry. Come on boys!

Heat vs. Rockets – March 16, 2014

The Heat snap out of the funk against the team that started it. The Rockets have a pretty solid squad, but they ran into Ray Ray this game. What a signing he was for Miami! He did not need more than an inch to get off in this game. Notice how I'm not saying much about LBJ? Yea, he was average at best…for LBJ of course. He actually played pretty well, but not scoring in the 4th Q until the final minute after the game has already been decided? That isn't the type of play that inspired the creation of this podcast. Come on Bron! Get your game on.

Raptors vs. Suns – March 16, 2014

The Raptors didn't lose this one, they got beat. There's a difference. The boys competed and played their hearts out, but so did Phoenix, and last night they had it all going. Gerald Green continued to impress lately, and former Raptor PJ Tucker brought his A game to the ACC. Losing with a good effort makes the loss so much easier to swallow.

Another completely perplexing performance. The King went off in the 1st on 5-5 shooting, then only hits 3 of his next 12, and tacked on 4 turnovers. Oh yeah, and Miami lost its 5th of 6. Looking for a big showing by LeBron in Houston on Sunday. National audience, MVP time me thinks.
